This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use the Lazuz mobile application (the "App") or website at www.lazuz.co.il (the "Site").

By registering for or using the App or Site, you acknowledge that you have read and agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please stop using the App and Site immediately.

Data We Collect

We collect only the information necessary to provide and improve the Lazuz service. This includes:

• Registration data — name, email address, phone number, and password when you create an account.
• Profile data — optional profile details you choose to provide (e.g., sport preferences, skill level).
• Booking data — details of reservations you make, modify, or cancel through the App.
• Payment data — payment method details processed securely through our payment provider. We do not store full card numbers on our servers.
• Communications — messages or support requests you send to us.

You are responsible for ensuring all data you provide is accurate and up to date.

Location Data

The App requests permission to access your device's location. Location data is used exclusively for the following purposes:

• Showing sports facilities near you.
• Improving the accuracy and relevance of search results.
• Providing navigation or directions to a booked facility.

Location data is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used for any purpose outside the above. You may revoke location permissions at any time through your device settings. Revoking access may limit some features of the App.

How We Use Your Data

We use the information we collect to:

• Create and manage your Lazuz account.
• Process, confirm, and manage your facility bookings.
• Handle payments, refunds, and wallet transactions.
• Send transactional notifications (booking confirmations, reminders, cancellations).
• Provide customer support and resolve disputes.

• Comply with applicable legal obligations.

We do not use your data for automated profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects without your explicit consent.

Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your information only in the following limited circumstances:

• Facility owners — booking details (name, contact, reservation time) are shared with the relevant facility owner to fulfill your reservation.
• Payment processors — your payment information is processed by our third-party payment provider under their own privacy and security standards.
• Service providers — trusted technical partners (e.g., cloud hosting, analytics) who process data on our behalf under strict data processing agreements.
• Legal compliance — when required by law, court order, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Lazuz, our users, or the public.

Data Retention

We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as required to provide services. You may request account deletion at any time (see Section 08). Upon deletion, we will remove or anonymize your personal data, except where retention is required for:

• Dispute resolution or fraud prevention.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, notify you via the App or email. Your continued use of the App or Site after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
